Volunteer Now

There are so many ways to get involved, we hope you’ll find one. Whether your skills are tutoring teens, or assembling shelving, organizing books for a book sale or rocking the vote on campus, writing a blog post, or wiring a light post — we’ll find a way you can fit in — and can have some fun with us! We’ve had tots at the Lemonade stands and Seniors sticking stickers. We’ve worked with everyone from the Lions Club to the ETHS Community Service Kids as well as our Northwestern student interns.

Have an idea about how you’d like to get involved?  Please send an email to volunteer@eplfriends.org and let us know your talents and what you might like to do.

The Mighty Twig

There will be two volunteer work days coming up on March 18 & 19th, and we can use your help at The Mighty Twig setting up the space and getting ready for opening day. If you can help, email us at twig@eplfriends.org. Or, if you think you might like to take a shift or two at the new space once we open, email us at twig@eplfriends.org and let us know what might work for your schedule.

Membership

We can always use help with membership! If you’d like to sign people up for family membership at EPL Friends, let us know at info@eplfriends.org. We’ll be doing a big push during National Library Week, and could use some extra manpower around town.

Flyer/Poster distribution

Organize volunteers or take a neighborhood and put up posters in the store windows and activity centers. email us and let us know if  you can take some flyers or posters for your church, school, stores. We will bring them to you.
